The
Rural Action Zone
The South Holland Rural Action Zone (RAZ) is the first rural action
zone in the country. It is a concept to promote partnership working
and, through new ways of working together, to shape and improve
rural life.
The Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership
In 1999 amid growing concerns at the rising number of casualties
on Lincolnshire Roads, The Police, Lincolnshire County Council
and The Lincolnshire Health Trust joined forces to form the unique
Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. The Partnership has since
expanded to include The Highways Agency and The Probation Service.
Its mission is to work together to make the roads of Lincolnshire
safer for all.
Sarn
Associates
Sarn Associates was established in 1997 by David Leigh Evans,
who has over twenty years experience of working in the field of
education, with seven years as headteacher.
Sarn Associates has built on David’s experience
to develop education links with both the public and private sectors.
Sarn Associates now provides support for public
and private organisations in developing high quality, sustainable
links with education.
Education
Business Partnership
The Lincolnshire & Rutland Education Business Partnership
was formed in April 2001 and works to encourage improved links
between education and business. This work not only benefits students
and teachers, but also provides rewarding experiences for members
of the local business community.
South Holland Youth Council
The SHYC was set up in July 2006, following elections in secondary schools to appoint young people as members, its aims are to keep the youth of South Holland informed on important local issues and initiatives.
